All Day Crop Coming Soon at a New Location!

Join me on May 14th at the Winchester Community Center at 563 Maury Hill St. (downstairs) in Spring Hill TN. This is a new location for us but is only a mile away from the hotel we normally use and will hopefully give us a little more room to set up our tables for a fun-filled day of scrapbooking and fun. We will meet from 9am to 9pm . The cost for the workshop is only $25 and includes lunch and dinner. Please just bring a small snack to share. You must RSVP and pay by April 30th to guarantee yourself a spot. You can do both through Paypal to my e-mail at HeatherHicks@MyCTMH.com. These crops are so much fun and help us get our scrapbooks and card making caught up with a lot of laughter on the side. I hope you can join us!

Having Fun in Florida

This past weekend I was able to go to a special corporate sponsored event in Navarre, FL. The beach was less than a mile away from where we stayed and was absolutely beautiful! Several of the Senior Executive Staff from Close to My Heart were there as they, and my fabulous up, up, up-line, Tina Sutton, put on a special event called Leadershare.

Tina did an amazing job making everything fabulous and fun to inspire and teach new ideas and techniques to her downline. During the event, a silent auction was held to benefit Operation Smile, Close to My Heart's choice non-profit. There were so many amazing items created by CTMH consultants and the art department specifically for the auction. I was asked to create a layout, so using the Mayberry papers and an Easter theme, this is what I came up with.

Tina was so sweet to honor those of us who create items for the silent auction by giving us these sweet gifts. It is a decorated gift tin with a cute blue bracelet inside with the letters ART on it.

Here are some other items that were created - aren't they gorgeous!!!

We were able to raise over $1300 to go towards Operation Smile - that's almost 7 surgeries. Also, just as a reminder, every time you purchase a stamp set from CTMH, a portion of the sales go to benefit Operation Smile. You can find out more about Operation Smile by going to their website at http://www.operationsmile.org/.
