You ARE Enough!

 

I am so excited out the special that Close to My Heart unveiled for National Scrapbooking Month - You are Enough!  In a year that has been so overwhelmingly difficult for so many, it is good to remind ourselves and others that We are Enough. You are Loved! God made you and you are enough for anything that he allows you to go through. *To cut your own Cricut pieces you will need these CTMH Cricut Collections: Flower Market, Stitched Together, Serenity and You are Here. You will also need the following additional cardstock: Blue Belle, Ballerina, Sangria, Peach, Glacier, Sage, Sapphire (2), and Espresso

*** There are many cuts that will need to be made with the Butterfly Die Cuts, Vellum and the You Are Enough Coordinating Cardstock. If you are unable to cut these yourself, I am happy to cut them for you but there will be an an additional $7.50 charge, plus the Cricut cut charge if you need me to cut those for you also.****

Here are a closer look at the layouts we will be creating:

The lighting for the above layout makes it look orange but the Holographic paper is absolutely gorgeous here.  It is a fun touch to a more masculine layout.

 

This layout uses the stamp set that comes in the Bundle.  There is opportunity to use it in the other layouts as well but primarily it is used here 

 

 

I still have some paper left after all these layouts and am having so much fun creating.  I hope you will join me on June 24th at 6:30pm CST to create these fun layouts together. 

 

How Old Can You Go Challenge

With all the AMAZING product that Close to My Heart released this month in their Seasonal Expressions 2 book it is easy to get swept away and want it all (yep, I do!)  But what about the super cute papers and embellishments that you already have?  If you are like me you have lots of supplies that you really love but i\they are quickly forgotten because of all the pretty new items appearing.   I want to help you use your old supplies to help make room for all the new goodies you NEED.

So... Announcing our newest challenge. 

How Old Can You Go 

At least once a month from May to August I will post a challenge on my facebook page for you to create using as many old supplies as you can. During that month, upload and post your own creation using your older supplies to the ScrappinwithHeather facebook group.  On August 25th, each person that participated in the challenge all 4 months will receive $10 in product credit of papers, inks, or stamps towards their own $20 purchase made between August 25 and August 31st. 

To make it an even better, for each month that you include 3 or more retired/old items in your project, you will receive an additional entry into the Hostess Rewards pot.  I will hold the drawing on August 25th and the person chosen will receive an additional $25 in Hostess Rewards.

Whew - I was able to go back 10 years!

I used a series of layouts created by fellow consultant Kelly Baxter-Fitzgerald but changed the papers out to use what I already had in stock. Easy Peasy.

I absolutely loved creating with my old supplies and feeling like it was money well spent. Now I don't feel bad at all when I purchase all the new papers and supplies!  I'm sure you will feel the same.  Will you join me?!

"You are Here" Team Bloghop

Our newest Cricut Cartridge - You are Here is one of my absolute favorites!  There are so many titles, place markers, family reunion and just plain fun buttons!  You are going to want this collection for your new go to for all your excursions - local and abroad.  If you have come form Rebecca Brown's blog you are in the right spot.  This blog hop is a big circle. Last month I showed off my favorite paper pack in the Seasonal Expressions book - No Worries. This month I am going to show you another layout using the No Worries paper and how perfectly it works with the "You are Here" Cricut Collection.

My title and journaling decal both came from the You are Here Cricut Collection. They are so fun and not vacation specific which makes them even better. I love how they start my 2017 vacation album off.  The pattern used is from our Brand New Make it From Your Heart 3 book.

August is one of my favorite times of year!  Not only is it me and my husbands birthday month but it's back to school and most importantly the unveiling of the Close to My Heart Annual Catalog.
