New Embossing Folders for FREE

I am embarrassed by how long it has been since I have sat down to post here on my blog.  I can't believe it has been as long as it has but please don't think that means I haven't been busy creating.  I have had a couple of crops/retreats these last few months and have been working diligently on my nephews album.  My nephew was diagnosed with a brain tumor the day after Thanksgiving and has undergone 3 brain surgeries to remove the fluid and the tumor from his brain. I am thankful to say he is doing well and trying to re-acclimated to life while undergoing physical therapy.  He was blessed to receive many hundred cards and pictures while he was at Vanderbuilt in Nashville and then when he was moved to Atlanta for therapy. I have been busy trying to organize them in an album for him to keep.

I did want to show you this recently released video from corporate showing off the new Embossing Folders from Close to My Heart.  There are 6 -5x7 designs and they work with all embossing machines that hold that size. To celebrate the release of these new folders, Close to My Heart is giving one free folder (of your choice) with the purchase of any two bulk cardstock paper packs - individual colors and multi-color packs through the month of February.  Hurry and stock up on your cardstock and try our hottest new product for FREE before it's too late!  Shop here to get yours now!

Here is the video showing off the new folders and some great ways to use them! Enjoy!

Emboss Resist Stamping

With all the new products that we are constantly coming out with, it is easy to forget about some of older products. One specifically that I wanted to show you today is the Embossing powders.  I absolutely love embossing powder and try to use it as much as I can. In fact, this is the first year I did not use my embossing powder for my Christmas cards but was so pleased to receive cards from many of you who have!  By the way, thank you for sending your cards - I love receiving them!!!

Well, apparently Close To My Heart, even with all their new products about to be released in February, thought that the embossing powders needed a little recognition again because they created this quick video to show you an oldy but a goody technique - Emboss Resist Stamping.  Take a look at the video here and watch how they create some beautiful cards, quick and easy. Isn't that beautiful!!! Now, go get out your clear embossing powder, Versamark Ink pad and heating tool and create something beautiful! I would love to see it here too so feel free to upload and show off your awesome artwork! If you don't have any of these items but love the technique and want to order your own supplies, shop on my website now! Don't forget while your there to pick up your Whoo's your Valentine kit for only $10 and your Happy Valentine's Stamp of the Month stamp for only $5 with your $50 purchase.
