Blessings!

My internet has been down for several days or I would have posted this sooner.  I was so blessed so receive this cute card in the mail last week from one of my friends/customer.  It was so random and unexpected which just adds to it's beauty.  I love the simplicity and of it  yet it just lights up my mailbox!!!

I also wanted to post some of the simple teacher's gifts I made for the homeschool coop teachers the kids have. I originally saw something like these several years ago but recently saw them again on pinterest and was reminded to try them again.  They are so easy to create and allows you to use up your scraps of papers and embellishments.  The most expensive part of the gift was the post-it notes!

Pemberley Plus

I was so excited to get together with everyone on Friday night for our Pemberley workshop.  Due to a death in the family I had to cancel my workshop in March so I was definitely ready to get together and have some fun girl time.

Here is the layout we created. I had seen a similar layout created by another talented Close to My Heart consultant and just had to recreate it.  It took us a little bit of time but I think everyone liked how the final product came out.  The brown space on the right page is waiting for me to take my time and journal or could be used for another photo mat.  Hope you like it!

Positively Pemberley

My workshop this month is with our Pemberley papers which features blue and yellows as the prominent colors.  Here is the Workshop on the Go layout that I created and will be teaching at the workshop on the 27th.  The pictures are definitely the main focus, so if you are signed up to attend, please make sure you have pictures with you. 

I will be creating and teaching another layout for our workshop, to be shown soon.

Stella Layouts for workshop

I have been having so much fun with our new Stella papers.  I have already created three double page layouts with the paper and plan on making at least one more plus some cards.  Here are two of the three double-page layouts that I created (the other one is still waiting on a few pictures I need to print :-).  ) These are the two layouts  that we will create at my workshop that was rescheduled for April 6th.

Super Easy Valentine Wreath

Most of you know that I teach an arts and crafts class at the homeschool coop that my children attend.  I love to scrapbook and make cards but "crafts" are a little scary to me.  I have tried very hard to not use my scrapbooking as a crutch in the class but this weeks craft was perfect for me.  It was super easy and could definitely be spiced up a bit but when you are working with 3rd - 6th graders for an hour each, simple and easy is best.



I was able to use up a lot of my scrap paper that I usually have set aside for cards.  Paper was cut into 1" x 11" strips, folded in half and the open ends folded down onto each other.  We glued the hearts together and added some ribbon to hang the wreath.  Again, I said super simple but a perfect project for kids.
