Is that White Pines I see?

I don't know about you but for me Christmas always seems so far away until it isn't and then I am  scrambling to get it all done. I am excited to announce that CTMH had decided to give us a hand this year in getting ahead of the Christmas craziness by bringing back one of my favorite Christmas paper sets in July. White Pines papers are back and have been updated to coordinate perfectly with our currecnt CTMH colors and now includeds a fun and unique sticker sheet that coordinates with the Paper Pack too.

To help us get prepared for the coming Christmas season, they are offering two different workshops - one scrapbooking

and one card-making.

If you had the chance to play with these papers in the past, you know just how beautiful they are.  They also brought back the coordinating stamp sets so no need to buy those a 2nd time if you already have them.

If you've never played with this paper before and you want all the things, CTMH has created a special bundle just for you:

Keep an eye out on my Facebook page - Scrappin with Heather Hicks over the month as I show you some things I created in the past with the White Pine's Papers and make sure to grab yours while you can. This special is only available from July 1 - August 31 OR until supplies last.

Christmas Wishes with Seaglass

If you haven't played with this years color of the year then you have been missing out. The Sea Glass color has been everywhere this year and isn't just for the summer season. It is a key component to our Happy, Happy Christmas kit now on sale and to these beautiful Christmas cards created by fellow consultant Brenda Rose.

These cards use our Happy, Happy Christmas Overlays, our Gold and Sea Glass Glitter Papers, your Christmas stamp sets with Chocolate or Desert Sand Ink, and our Oh Deer papers.  I used the snowflake Thin Cuts to cut out the snowflakes shown on the cards.  It is hard to see the beautiful glittery effects the Glitter Papers give but they are GOR-GE-OUS!

Using your own Christmas stamps and inks, you can create these beautiful cards in your own home getting you one step closer to your Christmas festivities.  Using the link to the right, order your own set of supplies to create these 18 Christmas cards for only $38 shipped to you!  All items will be pre-cut and ready for a quick assembly with full color pictures of each card to guide you through creating your own cards.  Make sure when ordering you leave your mailing address is the comments so I know directly where to send your kit.

It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas!

It's not even Thanksgiving yet but we all know it takes time to decorate and prepare for Christmas.  Christmas is definitely one of my favorite times of year but with it comes lots of preparation. I love the new Happy, Happy Christmas kit from Close to My Heart to help with the Christmas prep and finish work.  Last weekend I was able to get away and retreat with several of my local ladies.  There was a lot going on but I was pleased that I was able to create some while relaxing and socializing.  One of the things I created was the extra project that you can make with the Happy, Happy Christmas kit.  It's not the best picture and but here is the final result:

Though you can't see it very well in the picture, there is lots of little bling here and there to really make this display tray shine! And it literally took only 10 minutes to put together. The instructions for the Happy, Happy Christmas are probably some of the best instructions I have seen CTMH put together for us.  Everything was well explained and thought through.  You definitely need to check them out.

Remember, this kit gives you one Red Christmas Album, All the instructions, papers and embellishments to create 5 double -pages layouts (that's 10 pages)!  Check out my website to see all the details and pieces that come in the kit and the extra items that have been discounted to give you even more creating with the leftover pieces from the kit.

Happy, Happy Christmas!

I can't believe how long it has been since I have blogged - I am so sorry. Soooo much has been going on, personal and business related that my life has been upside down and inside out.  Over the next few posts I will share some of the happenings but first I want to show you one of this months specials.

I am loving our new Happy, Happy Christmas Workshop kit that gives you 5 layouts, a Red Album and supplies to decorate up 2 home decor items you can keep or give away for beautiful gifts.

Take a look at the layouts!
Aren't they gorgeous!  The sparkly red and silver accents don't show through the picture very well but they light up the layouts!  Gor-ge-ous!!!

You can home accents are super cute and super easy to put together. Just purchase the added frames and accents add the remaining embellishments and papers and create this:

Yuletide Carol Memories

I absolutely love Christmas - everything about it! The whole month of December is spent baking cookies, decorating the house and the tree and buying presents for family and friends. I love the act of really thinking about people and their heart and buying presents for each person based on who they are not just buying presents to give presents. But most of all, I love watching my kids do the same thing. They each love to think of the best thing they can make or purchase for each person. Many times they don't stop at immediately family either, they love to get the perfect something for their aunts and grandparents too!  It is awesome to watch their excitement on Christmas morning as they refuse to open their own gifts and they fight over who gets to GIVE their gifts first. I guess if you have to hear your kids argue - that's the best argument you can hear!

If you are like me you take 250+ pictures at Christmas and then struggle to figure out how to scrapbook them all. I have decided that scrapbooking them ALL isn't a good idea or everyone gets bored really quickly looking through your album because they are all about the same event :) But I do enjoying creating several layouts to celebrate each occasion when we celebrate the Season of My Saviors birth with both sides of our family.

Join me January 31st for my Yuletide Carol Scrapbooking Workshop. We will be meeting at the Winchester Bldg in Spring Hill. We will create both the layouts shown above and one more original layout that will house several small pictures.

Workshop attendees will receive the items shown here:

Their are two different workshop options to choose from. Both will have all the papers pre-cut and ready for assembly but the Better workshop includes the above exclusive coordinating stamp set with the kit.

You must register by January 10th for your items to arrive in time so click the link to the right and save your spot for this fun workshop to preserve this years favorite Christmas memories.
